Internacional Normalizado"...por usar en el análisis de tiempo de protrombina un
reactivo biológico sujeto a cambios pero con un valor de resultado bien
valorado. En inglés lo llaman INR y es lo mismo.Se adoptó porque las
equivalencias del tiempo de protrombina en unidades de tiempo (segundos) no eran
equivalentes, variando entre laboratorios, según el reactivo que
usaban.</FONT></DIV>
